Happy 11 Months Jaxin

WOW, only one more month because I have a 1 year old.  I can't believe it!  Jax is growing like a weed!!  He was riding the Quad like a champ until I came outside and started to take a video.  This is the best I could get.

Oh what a week... or was it?

I have no idea where this past week went.  Oh wait, that is right, I have spent nearly an hour in Evin's room trying to get her to sleep each night.  Yep, there went my computer time just about every night.  Tonight, I refused to stay in there with her.  She is not happy with me, but this is what is right for her.  So we did have a fun week and the kids sure enjoyed each other (well most of the time).

The next day after I put Jaxin down for a nap, look where I found Evin!!



Jaxin had grilled cheese for the first time.  I think he liked it, hehe!

Evin showed off her long locks while holding BoBo and eating some peanuts.

Then Evin had to feed all of her babies at one time.  They all had a bottle and some food!

And Evin even read Jaxin a book!

A Trip to the Park

We woke up this morning to WONDERFUL weather, so I took the opportunity to take the kids out on a walk and to the park while Daddy was playing basketball at the gym.  We were all packed up and on our way before 7:10am! We started off taking a nice walk! At this time, I realized that I forgot my camera at home.  Good thing I had my cell phone.  I think it took some amazing picture for a cell phone!!

They are much happier with Jax in front and Ev in back!!

They were both pretty happy, so we walked past our normal park and headed to the "fun park" (as Ev calls it) with the swings, tunnels and big slide.

Evin has never been a big fan of the baby swings, but since Jax was enjoying it, she thought she should join in. (Evin LOVES the regular swing and has for forever, just not the baby ones).

Good thing this park has more than just swings!  Evin explored every tunnel, slide and "ladder" this park offered.  Yes, she even climbed up the curvy ladder off to the left all by her self!  She did not want (or really need) Mommy's help!

After we left the fun park, we started our walk back home and decided to stop at our normal park,  Jaxin liked this park much better because he can climb and go down these slides.  However, no swings.

Mr. Independent slid himself down as mommy stepped back to get a picture.  He didn't like it too much.  It was the first time he went down a slide not on someones lap or holding someones hand.  He would not let go of Mommy to try again after this one.  Maybe next time!  The park was so much fun!  I am so happy that we were able to get outside this morning and enjoy the park!!

The Adventures of Evin's Big Bed

Evin got a big girl bed! She needed it! And Mommy needed her to have it too!! The first night, she slept on it with out a bed frame, so we just took the front off the crib and it looked like the top 2 pictures below.  Then we got the bed frame and attached the headboard and footboard.  We had to place the stool next to the bed so that she can get in and out of her bed!

Evin LOVES her big bed!  She is sleeping much better and she is generally much happier.  It is a little harder to get her to sleep because she is a bit freaked by being up so high in the dark, but once she is out, we are golden.  IF she does wake up though, she wants Mommy to come "sleep with me" and I have to be "under the blankets too!"

Animal Crazy!

Since both of my kids are Animal crazy, I thought it was appropriate to document this play time.  Evin brought several out of her room and then asked Mommy to help bring out the rest.  They played with them for over an hour!  It was a great afternoon yesterday!!  Oh and this are ONLY Evin's Animals.  Jaxin doesn't have nearly as many, but I would hate to see this mess if his were out too.
